Here we are. We made it without any help and knowledge of the language to the apartment of Claudia. Public transportation in Shanghai is unbelievable good and easy to use as soon as you find the English-button on the touch-screen of the ticket machine.
We just adapt to the time-zone, the weather and the culture at all. Somehow the city reminds me of Seoul - quite Asian but in many places also very western. It's easy to get around with a minimum of English and no Chinese at all. But there comes the nest question: How do we get to the hidden and to tourists unknown places? I think well try the local CCCs - Claudia, Christoph & Couchsurfing.
The next days will be interesting anyway: The People's Republic of China has its 60th anniversary on October 1st ...
